Maxis is specifically engineered for people with bigger builds. It fits users approximately 178–200 cm and supports up to 181kg. With a 52cm seat depth, 430mm shoulder width, and 520mm waist width, it provides full-body support that standard ergonomic chairs simply can't match.
All three are built on the same reinforced Maxis frame, and feature the Bionic FlexFit Backrest, Dynamic Support System, and five fixed recline positions. The differences are:
- Manual: Manual lumbar adjustment — the simplest option.
- Electric: Motorized lumbar support + Motorized spinal stretch.
- Airflow: Motorized lumbar support, OmniStretch, and Active Airflow seat ventilation — a centrifugal fan system that actively circulates air through the seat cushion to keep you cool and dry.
The Airflow system uses a centrifugal fan built into the seat, with air channels layered through the cushion (breathable fabric → silk cotton padding → 3D support mesh → perforated foam → airflow channel → fan). It activates automatically when seated and has two speed settings with auto-memory. The fan operates at a low noise level designed for office environments.
The chair reclines to 5 fixed positions: 105°, 115°, 125°, 135°, and 160°.
- 105° – Deep Focus Mode: Upright and locked-in for intensive work.
- 115° – Balance Mode: Slightly reclined for video calls or reading.
- 125° – Solo-Work Mode: The everyday sweet spot.
- 135° – Soft Recline Mode: Ideal for light tasks or phone use.
- 160° – Recovery Mode: Near-flat for breaks or power naps.

Yes. The Maxis Electric and Maxis Airflow feature a built-in rechargeable battery — no need for a power outlet during normal use. The battery powers the lumbar motor and OmniStretch function (and the ventilation fan on Airflow).

The Maxis has a fixed 52cm seat depth, engineered specifically for taller and larger users. Rather than using infinite adjustment, we chose a fixed ergonomic configuration because continuous sliding can cause unintended shifts in the ergonomic optimization of the foam density zones.
All Maxis models include enlarged 4D armrests with:
- Forward / Backward: 130 mm
- Height: 128 mm
- Width: 400–600 mm
- Rotation: 40° inward
To adjust armrest width, simply unlock the width adjustment mechanism, reposition the armrest, and lock it back into place.
